Pat and Dave Westington moved to the hills of Eastern Tennessee a few years ago to pursue a dream of opening a brew shop. After a week at "cheese camp", Pat decided to add cheesemaking to the plan and Epicurean Outpost was created.

Dave is the brewer. He has been a home brewer for many years and is an active member of the State of Franklin Homebrewers Club. He is not bound to styles but prefers to develop his own distinct beers. Recently, he ventured into mead making with the usual stellar results.
 
Pat is the cheesemaker. Always in pursuit of "good milk", she has created a number of both fresh and aged cheeses and is determined to show others how easy and fun cheesemaking can be. Cheesemaking demonstrations by appointment.
